MWM Projects was founded by designer Marcus Mitchell in 2013. With an early background in Fine Art and years spent working within the art world, Marcus brings a creative, detail-focused approach to every outdoor space he designs. His later training at the renowned Capel Manor College—studying Garden Design and Horticulture—provided the technical grounding to match his artistic vision.

Marcus’s love of gardening began in childhood. Fascinated by nature, outdoor spaces, and the way landscapes shape how we feel, he naturally gravitated toward a career that blends creativity with the living environment. Garden design became the perfect meeting point between his interests in art, design, and architecture.

Based in Hackney, MWM Projects specialises in creating thoughtful, timeless, and beautifully crafted gardens for homes and small businesses across London. Whether designing contemporary urban courtyards, family gardens, or green spaces that enhance wellbeing, Marcus approaches each project with care, collaboration, and a strong attention to detail.
